This is the first song I wrote for ukulele + voice. It was written in the Winter of 2014 while I was living in Sandpoint, Idaho. With its permaculture-esque lyrics, this song is a prayer for a greener, quieter, more peaceful world. This song uses 11th chords.
lyrics
I breathe in the Sky Heart,
Walking in the melody of the forest.
And, in my pockets are orchards as seeds
to sow a delicious future for us all.
Dandelion, dandelion.
Everywhere I look I see
fruit tree and berry
veggies spilling into sidewalks.
Edible town, oh,
Quieter world, quieter world.
